  Assalamualaikum and hello everybody... Pada kesempatan ini Riztanty akan berbagi pengetahuan tentang narrative text,ada yang sudah tahu apa itu narrative text ? Mari kita lihat penjelasan dan contohnya dibawah ini .

A.Pengertian 

  

teks yg berisi tentang cerita imajinasi/dongeng yg terjadi dimasa lampau dan bertujuan untuk menghibur pembaca

B. Generic structure

•  Orientation : sets the scene and introduces the participants of the story,the time and place where the  story happened .
• Complication : a crisis arises. a series of events in which the main character attempts to solve the  problem 
• Resolution : the crisis is resolved ,for better or worse
  

• Reorientation :  The ending of the story.  

 C. Contoh Narrative text

 a. Malin Kundang

     Once upon a time,on the north coast of West Sumatera. There lived a poor family ( a woman and her son named Malin Kundang ).Her mother was a lone parent because Malin Kundang's father had passed away when he was a baby.

     Malin was a skillful youngman.He always helped his mother to earn some money.One day,Malin asked to his mother "Mother,what if I sail overseas?And I want to be a successful person",then his mother said "No,you will leave me alone","Mother,if I stay here,I'll always be a poorman. I promise to keep in touch with you and I promise,I will back to home." urged Malin."If you really want to go,I can't stop you. I could only pray to god for you"said malin's mother wisely.

     After several years,Malin became rich and he was married with a beauty girl. one day he came back to his hometown and see his mother. "Malin....you're back,son ! I missed you so much " said malin's mother. "Whose mother ? I don't know you.My mother never wear such ragged,ugly clothes like this," said Malin.Then Malin pushed his mother and his mother very sad.After that,Malin's mother cried and prayed to god.

     Suddenly,the wind blew so hard.The dark clouds urged,followed by the rain.And the ship was shaking.All of the ship's passengers were running out the ship.When Malin was rushing out and passed his mother,his feet suddenly froze and it forced him to stop running.His feet's condition forced him to bow down in front of his mother. After he bowed-down,his whole body turned into stone. He was punished for not admitting his parent who had given him birth.

b.Lake Toba

     Long time ago,in northSumatera.There lived a youngman.  He was very handsome.He was a fisherman.He liked fishing very much.Every morning he went fishing in the river.

    One day he was fishing in a nice place under a big tree.Not long time he was suprised that he got a big fish.Then he fell suprise again because a big fish could talk. "Hei handsome man,please let met go ! " big fish said,then the youngman let the big fish go.After that the youngman fell so suprise again because a big fish change into a beutiful girl.They often met  to each other.Finally,they fell in love.

     One month later they got married with one condition.The youngman should keep the promise not to tell that she came from a big fish.Three month later a beutiful girl had pregant.And she gave birth a small baby after nine months,named Sam.

     One day,sam's mother asked him to send some food and drink to his father rice flied.On the way to the rice field,Sam ate up the food and drink.When they went home,sam's father was very angry. He told Sam "You are naughty boy like a son of fish !".Arriving at home,Sam told his mother what did father tell him.To hear that news,his mother was very angry.Not for long time,the world shook hard,and came out lot of water.So,this case became lake toba. And Sam,sank into the water and became small island in the middle of LakeToba named Samosir Island.

D.Jenis-jenis narrative text

•  Folktale : cerita pada masa lampau yang menjadi ciri khas setiap daerah yang memiliki kultur budaya yang beraneka ragam mencakup kekayaan budaya dan sejarah yang dimiliki masing-masing daerah.Contoh : Malin Kundang
•  Legend : cerita prosa rakyat yang dianggap oleh empunya cerita sebagai sesuatu yang benar-benar terjadi. .Contoh : Legenda Tangkuban Parahu
• Myth :  Cerita/prosa rakyat yg ditokohi oleh para dewa atau makhluk setengah dewa yang terjadi di dunia lain (kayangan) dan dianggap benar – benar terjadi oleh empunya cerita atau penganutnya.Contoh : Nyi roro kidul
• Fable : Cerita fiktif yg ditokohi hewan yg bertujuan utk menghibur.Contoh : Sikancil
